SUBJECT: Engine starts intermittently
DETAILS:

Engine dies or sometimes will not start after engine compartment heat soak of (1) or more hours. Codes 08 (air flow meter) and 10 (intake air temp.) stored in EGI control unit. #8 ground connector may be loose causing open circuit. Wiggle/inspect wire harness (located inside vehicle on passenger floor behind evaporator housing).

Tighten ground bolt and inspect individual terminals for proper connection. Also, monitor air flow meter and intake air temp. circuit voltages for abnormal readings.

Also, inspect terminal "1M" of connector "B2-01" for poor connection. Loose or open connector can cause intermittent hard starting.
