SUBJECT: Defroster & A/C Switch Wiring Diagram Correction
DETAILS: The 2000 MY Wiring diagram and early printed versions of 2001 MY do not illustrate how the Defroster and A/C switch located in the Front Climate Control Unit operates. A revised 2001 Wiring diagram will be released. The following corrections have been made to the wiring diagram: Section: G1 Heater and Air Conditioner Page Z-62 Front Climate Control Unit Internal Switch Operation Connector G1-01 Terminal call-out: I = A/C switch and micro switch (located on mode select knob) connects to ground when activated. J = Defroster switch connects to ground when activated. k = Meter cluster/HVAC illumination (.1v or B+) L = Meter cluster/HVAC illumination (B+)
