| SUBJECT: PCM error/MIL ON, false DTC P0340 |
- DETAILS:
If engine cranking time should occur longer than 3 seconds, PCM may misjudge the CMP sensor circuit as having a malfunction.
A revised PCM calibration is available on B19 to resolve this concern. Using WDS B19:
- Perform "SELF-TEST". Verify DTC P0340 is stored.
Reprogram the PCM to latest calibration available using WDS B19 and following the "Module Reprogramming Procedure".

- Road test vehicle to re-learn KAM, and verify MIL does not turn ON again.
