SUBJECT: Front axle knocking/clicking noise at low speed
DETAILS:

1996-98 4WD MPV may experience a thumping noise from the front left drive shaft area. This noise is most noticeable at low speeds (3-10 mph) in 2WD and may slightly increase when turning.

This noise is a result of excessive backlash between the spline on the joint shaft and the serration on the driveshaft.

A joint shaft coupled with a left driveshaft is now available at the PDC. Install this service part on affected vehicle as a complete assembly.
