SUBJECT: Squeaking Noise from Rear Brakes
DETAILS:

During the first braking application when the brakes are cold, some customers may hear a squeaking noise from the rear brakes. This noise may be caused by the rear brake pad friction material. The brake pad material has been modified during mass-production to eliminate this noise.

Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

  1. Verify customer concern.
  2. Replace the rear brake pads according to the MPV Workshop Manual (Section 04-11 DISC PAD (REAR) REPLACEMENT ).
  3. Verify repair.
