|SUBJECT: Squeaking Noise from Rear Brakes
During the first braking application when the brakes are cold, some customers may hear a squeaking noise from the rear brakes. This noise may be caused by the rear brake pad friction material. The brake pad material has been modified during mass-production to eliminate this noise.
Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure.
- Verify customer concern.
- Replace the rear brake pads according to the MPV Workshop Manual (Section 04-11 DISC PAD (REAR) REPLACEMENT ).
- Verify repair.
